My partner, Craig, loves games.

The design of them, the history, and how they connect people. He loves making games. The only thing stopping him from making games all the time is the other things that accompany them. This is mostly code, art, other visual assets, and distribution. 

When he discovered zines, it opened up a world of possibilities for putting games in people’s hands. They’re cheap, and easy to both make and distribute. By building games around things that people already have (like basic 6-sided dice), anyone could play his games.

Snake Eyes was the first zine we made together. He put together the research and 3 mini games within it. I layed out the document and made the illustrations.
